Fracking

Fracking   ...to Frack or NOT to Frack... , that's the big question.  Wouldn't it be wonderful to have cheap, clean energy? You betcha! ... but is Fracking clean? ...What are the environmental consequences? Until all questions are satisfactorily answered as safe AND meet the Seventh Generation test, the moratorium on Fracking should be continued.  This topic was our big focus in 2013-2014, with many of us attending five different local events here in Chautauqua County. Fredonia SUNY Geologist Dr. Gary Lash presented an excellent talk on the Ethics of Fracking, hosted by the Leaugue of Women's Voters.
